Nicole Emmons-Willis is an experimental filmmaker and artist specializing in stop motion animation from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is a member of Factory Obscura, an Oklahoma City based art collective. She received her MFA from the Calarts Experimental Animation program as a Jacob K. Javits Fellow, and her Bachelors in Animation and Film from Columbia College Chicago. She is a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She has worked professionally in animation and film and video production for years, on television shows as varied as Thomas and Friends web series, Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, NBC’s Community, and Nickelodeon's Little Bill, as well as on various features, commercials, and music videos. When not working in the studio she enjoys bringing the love of animation to students both young and old, and offers classes in her craft currently at Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, University of Central Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City University.
